Safety Interlock Update for Carton Sealer Protective Door
2025-12-10
In this update, we have added a more reliable safety interlock system to the carton sealer. When the protective door or top cover is opened, the machine immediately stops by cutting off the operation command. This ensures that operators are in a safe condition when accessing internal components and prevents accidental contact with moving parts.
The interlock mechanism is designed to protect operators from potential hazards such as drive belts, taping units, and cutting components. By enforcing an immediate stop, maintenance work such as tape replacement, mechanical adjustments, and routine inspection can be carried out safely and predictably.
The protective door structure also provides a secondary function of reducing dust and foreign particles from entering the taping and conveyor modules. This helps maintain stable sealing quality and contributes to the long-term reliability of the equipment.
The system only allows the machine to restart once the protective door is fully closed and locked, ensuring controlled and safe operation.
With this feature added, the carton sealer achieves improved safety, maintainability, and operational reliability. It reflects our continuous effort to refine equipment details—providing a safer and more stable working environment for engineers and production teams without increasing operational complexity.
