How to check the direction of carton(horizontal carton erector) ?

Identifying Carton Erector Types:

Horizontal carton erectors come in two main types: Positive direction and Negative direction.

To ascertain the correct type for your operation, pay attention to the layout provided. The tape head and touch screen should be aligned consistently, as shown by the red rectangle in the layout, for ease of operation.

 

Carton Storage Placement:

Observe the yellow rectangle in the layout; this marks the designated area for storing the paperboard or carton before erecting. Additionally, note the yellow arrow indicating the direction for erecting the carton.

Positive vs. Negative Direction:

For the Positive direction carton erector, it is fit for erect the carton which is in positive direction, for the negative direction carton erector, it is fit for erect the carton which is in the negative direction.

Correct Carton Placement:

When loading carton onto the machine, ensure the width side faces inward, while the length side extends outward. This alignment enables the machine to efficiently erect the carton, facilitating smooth packaging processes. 

Incompatibility Issues:

Positive carton and negative carton cannot be used on the same machine, otherwise the logo will be turned 180°.

For example, if you use the Positive direction carton erector to erect the Carton in negative direction, you have to put the carton on the machine as picture 4, after packed, the machine will seal the top of the carton, because the direction of machine is not fit for that carton, so you will get a packing result as picture 5, if your client agree that.
